Any others that don’t eat poultry and/or fish?

Hello!  I have found many of your blogs quite uplifting.  If really does help to hear about what you are going through and how you deal with it.  I can truly relate with a few of you.  A large part of the stress I was feeling has been addressed and takin care of.  It won’t be a quick fix but at least I know things will be heading in the right direction - that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

I was wondering if there are any of you out there that don’t eat poultry or fish?  I don’t and I find it is hard to follow “healthy” eating plans because the main component is ususally poultry and/or fish.  I would love to hear from others that have this same concern.  As always happy losing and remember:  one slip does make you fall - it just throws you off balance.

One heck of a week!

This was one tough week!  Stress was shooting at me from every direction - worst of all though was my dog ran away…thankfully she was found and returned.  I am a stress eater above all else.    I wanted chocolate so bad, and potato chips, and ice cream, and the list goes on!  I think I did pretty well, I only had one candy bar (which for me is really good).  I even managed to lose 2 pounds - probably from all the walking I did looking for my dog!  How do you guys manage your eating when you are really stressed?  I tried doing something physical and mentally distracting but it didn’t always help.  I’ve tried walking, doing jumping jacks, word puzzles, and writing… any other ideas?

Looking forward to being a loser!

Hello!  My name is Susan and I am 34 years old.  I am in the process of losing (hopefully a lot more) weight.  I started at 319 pounds and I am currently down to 274 pounds.  It has been very difficult but I am proud of myself for what I have accomplished thus far.  I would love to meet and talk with others that are in the process of losing weight and those that already have.  I don’t really know what else to say right now except that I look forward to hearing from you.  Have a great day/night and happy losing!
